Record Makers

In 1975, five years after the band was reformed, they recorded their first, but not their last, record. This record included popular marches like marching 'Sergeants Belphegor' and 'Officer Of The Day'. The record was sold at a mere £2.10.

Happy with their first record, the band recorded a second in 1980 which was recorded at the Sharpness Village Hall were the band held their practices. This record introduced six very talented young musicians; euphonium player Vivean Ford played 'Grandfather's Clock', Eb bass player Duncan Abbot played 'Bass In The Ballroom' and the four trombone players, Garry & Michael Strickland, Joanne Mouslon and Dianne Roberts played the trombone spectacular 'The Bold Gendarms'.
